I do love my daylilies. Two of the plants have these double flowers, but even the singles glow when the sun hits them. Because they are on these long stalks, the sun hits the blossoms before the rest of the plant, which often allows for some startling images.

I just bought this robe and had tossed it over a chair that already contained the red blanket. I loved the way they looked together.

I didn't like any of the pictures I had taken of daisies, which I love, so I tried different vantage points. This one required me to lie flat on my back below the flower and shoot up at the grey sky. However, I liked the result.
