I stopped by Hutchins Farm in Concord, which is an organic farm, and was taken by the sheer gorgeousness of these peppers--and I'm not really a fan of eating them. But they sure look wonderful.

Some years, autumn arrives in small pockets, as it has this year. A few places show brilliant color, while most places are still resolutely green. Flerra Meadow already has bright red and orange trees, but only near the pond.
