A gal who works in my office building gave me a birthday bear, whom I named Roufous, for obvious reasons. Roufous has lots of personality. I still have the last birthday bear I received. It's made of real mohair and is stuffed with wooden excelsior, among other things. I was probably around 8 years old at the time and never that interested in baby dolls, but I sure loved stuffed animals. I guess I still do, since this little guy makes me smile. I think it's the slightly bald spot on his nose that gets me.
